Q: How much space is needed?

A: 10,000 to 20,000 sq. ft. paved or concrete surface is required.

 

Q: Can the Go-Karts run on dirt?

A: No, a smooth paved or concrete surface is required.

 

Q: What is the cost?

A: Minimum of $850 for up to 3 hours of unlimited racing, $250 for each additional hour. (Other charges apply depending on the type and structure of event. Please call for details.)

 

Q: How many karts does Fastlane Raceway have?

A: Currently 4

 

Q: What is the top speed of the Go-Karts?

A: 25 MPH or less depending on the event type.

 

Q: Can you flip a Go-Kart?

A: With a low center of gravity the Go-Karts are nearly impossible to flip.

 

Q: What is the minimum age and height to race a Fastlane Raceway Go-Kart?

A: There is no minimum age, 58" is the minimum height.

 

Q: Do you have a timing system available?

A: Yes, Fastlane Raceway has a computerized timing system available. (Added charges apply.)

 

Q: Are helmets and driving suits required?

A: No, however no open toe sandals are allowed.

 

Q: How many people can race in one hour?

A: Approximately 30, running 5 minute heat races and allowing for loading and unloading.  

 

DUI FAQs

Q: How much space is needed?

A: About the size of a basketball court or 5,000 sq. ft. paved or concrete surface is required.

 

Q: How many karts are required.

A: Currently 2

 

Q: What is the cost?

A: Minimum of $500 for up to 50 drivers. $150 for each additional hour. High Schools can call for special pricing and scheduling.

 

Q: How long does a course last?

A: The course lasts 2-3 hours with 50 drivers. High Schools can have a class of 30 students conducting Field sobriety tests and 2 laps on the obstacle in less than 1 hour.

 

Q: Why are high school classes shorter?

A: Drivers Education classes usually cover the DUI information Fastlane Raceway presents in its program. This allows High Schools to have up to 6 classes experience the program in one day.

 

Q: What if a High School has more than 6 Driver Education classes in one day?

A: Usually the cost of an additional $125 per hour applies depending on the number of classes.
